Korean Face Mask Haul
So I did something that I never thought I’d do. Buy skin/beauty products from a seller on…ebay.com. Yep, I’ve heard all about the scam and caution stories from skin/cosmetic buyers of ebay. But then I saw this amazing deal on ebay, 35 BeautyFriends masks for ~$18 and I kept on going back and forth on whether or not to buy it. After like 3 weeks and almost purchasing masks on Gmarket (Damn you F#%King expensive EMS to US shipping costs!!!alkjdfs) I went with the Ebay option which made each mask around USD$0.51, not a bad deal I think.
Anyway purchased it on April 30th and received items today May 5th, it was free economy shipping and Idk but I live in Hawaii so maybe that’s why I got it so fast.
Shipped all the way from Korea and somehow the mail dudette managed to fit our regular mail (which included a magazine) plus this in our shoebox size apartment mail box. Kudos to you ma’am for perseverance and for not ruining our other mail with your feat.
Very nice, bubble wrapped and separated into two piles. The bubble wrap is currently being popped by my toes as I write this.

I don’t think I’ll use them right away. I plan on just tearing one slightly open and dabbing just a smudge of the “essence” on my face just to see if I get a reaction. If not then tomorrow I’ll put one on before heading to bed.
If all goes well with these face masks, I’m now looking into some of the popular brands of face masks. I know Missha, etude, and thefaceshop have their own brands. I hope I’ll be able to purchase a Leaders Clinic one also, which are apparently some of the higher end face masks out there, one online store sells them for about ~$6-8 ea. gah!
